Dianne Craven
Dianne Craven, a married mother of three, texted Stuart Shortland who was living at Portugal at the time telling him that their baby girl had been born. He returned to the UK to see the baby when he received a text message purporting to be from Dianne’s brother claiming that Dianne had suffered a brain haemorrhage and died. Craven continued with the deception sending Shortland her funeral details. She was revealed as a pseudocider when British tabloid The Sun found pictures of her on the internet months after she had died.
